In High Tide SUP Yoga, we'll energize body and mind while connecting with the breath and the wonders of nature surrounding us. This class is designed for seasoned yogis and stand-up paddlers. With fluid movements and attention to proper alignment, this intermediate/advanced level class allows exploration of challenging poses in a safe environment. Class will begin with a brief intro to SUP on land prior to paddling to a pristine location and anchoring ourselves for the yoga portion of the class. Expect to begin with a short meditation and to move mindfully through sun salutations, vinyasa sequences, and arm balances. We'll close with a blissful floating savasana. You will get wet, so bring your sense of adventure! You may be most comfortable wearing layers and a bathing suit with your yoga gear. Join us as we honor ourselves and our surroundings with an invigorating expression of yoga on water.
Class time devoted to lecture: 5-10 minutes
