As an elite marathoner, Amanda believes that incorporating a Yoga for Athletes practice to a training regime is the secret to improved strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, and performance.

This 60-minute class will begin with a slow warm-up and proceed to moderate heat-building poses, such as Sun Salutations. The focus will be on major muscles that are often imbalanced and tight, such as the hamstrings, glutes, hip flexors and quadriceps in a slow-flow style.

We will end with a series of self-massage techniques using tennis balls to release tension, and visualization with breath work. This class is sure to have you feeling stronger and ready to tackle your next athletic endeavor!
